Laos is Southeast Asia's most enigmatic destination, a landlocked country of misty mountains, ancient temples, and the mighty Mekong River. Often overlooked by its neighbours, Laos rewards visitors with untouched natural beauty, spiritual serenity, and a gentle pace of life that feels wonderfully unchanged by time.
October to April (dry season) is the best time to visit Laos. November to February is the coolest and most comfortable period with clear skies and pleasant temperatures. March and April are hot but still dry. The wet season (May to September) brings lush green landscapes but some roads may become impassable, particularly in rural areas.
Monthly temperatures and rainfall for Laos. Green months are the best time to visit.
